Immigration Restructuring inside Initial Half of 2013, Promises US President

In a remarkable development, the US President has reportedly indicated that the US immigration revamp will be duly carried-out during the first half of the existing year. Barack Obama promised everything to lock a deal even before the given period. He asserted that it is a pledge that no stones will be left unturned to make the immigration restructuring a prospect.

Obama did not waver to state that the roadblocks to the US immigration revamp is not technical by any manners, adding such hurdles are political by nature. The president further said that in case–due to some or the other reason–the immigration restructuring gets held-up; it will positively be carried-out towards the end of 2013.

Quicker corridor for citizenship for unregistered foreigners

The president also apparently disclosed his guiding principles involving the US immigration favoring a quicker path for citizenship to the unlawful overseas people. It means that such migrants will be permitted to progressively inch towards the prized US citizenship, in case they successfully cater to certain requirements, such as get English language skills; go through criminal background tests; cough-up penalties; and go through security checks.

This allegedly suggests that Obama favors a quicker passageway to the citizenship of the US for unregistered foreigners at the cost of the national security. Meanwhile, the US Senators support precedence to border security.

Censure

The US Republicans allege that the president’s offer for a path to US citizenship for the aliens (unregistered migrants)–at the cost of safeguarding the national security–is not appreciable. They continue that the development will send wrong signals and will be a clemency for unregistered foreigners. The president’s proposal includes offering close to 11 million illegal migrants an opportunity to get the US Green Card, and later the prized US citizenship, even while this will enable them to attend schools and enjoy medical care in the US, minus fearing that they could be exiled.
