The news is that under the Skilled List in Canada 2014 federal skilled workers will be selected as permanent residents, based on their professional and personal ability to settle in the country and actively participate in the nation’s economy. The professionals will be duly assessed on the basis of five main factors, i.e., age, education, experience, language proficiency and arranged job in the nation.

According to Skilled List in Canada 2014, professionals associated with the occupations, shown below, will be eligible to submit their applications. This list is valid from May 1, 2014 to April 30, 2015.

The number of professionals required for each of the above given occupation is limited to 1000. To qualify, an applicant needs to have a minimum of one year of prior work experience along with a score of 7 points on point system.
