You can choose one of the following streams: Skilled Independent Visa 189, State Nominated Visa 190, and Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa –Subclass 489.
Thereafter, you must select an occupation from the one of the following lists: Skilled Occupation List (SOL), Consolidated Skilled Occupation List (CSOL), and State Nominated Occupation List (SNOL).
Once you are sure of your decision, you can contact the Australian High Commission located in Chanakyapuri, New Delhi–the capital city of India. The consulate at the High Commission will study your credentials and skills and will further assist you and help you know how can you convert the same into a PR Visa.
Who Have An Edge?
Those who possess the following requirements have a better chance, and are more likely to successfully migrate to Down Under: Those who have lived and worked in ‘Oz’ for at least two years, scored maximum passing marks, possess experience in the relevant occupation, possess good health and character certificate, and have good communication skills.
