Much before the release of the Bollywood movie, ‘Dil Chahta Hai’, a trip to a Goa had been quite a rage among youngsters. But, the new-found rage and the spirited visits to India’s smallest state inspired by the Farhan Akhtar’s movie cannot be denied. Because, I was one of those who got crazy over the idea of going to Goa and I still remember how I would insist my friends to plan out trips to this beautiful place. The craze is still there, though!

There is always an excitement when Goa bumps into our conversation. Such is the charm of this place that captivates everyone from young to old people alike. But, in most of the cases, when it comes to a yearly holiday trip, most family people or older people would name a few of the religious places around the corners, but given a choice, young people would always opt for their ultimate Indian destination, Goa! So, what is there that always attracts people, not only from the desi corners, from across the globe as well? Let’s find out…

Much has been written and talked about the beautiful sun-kissed beaches and the whitewashed churches. They have always added charm to the reputation of the state as one of the most visited and famous Indian tourist destinations. I don’t think that I need to discuss them once again. Come on, you can find ample written matter defining how beautiful the beaches and the churches are! I am here to let you skim through the reasons as to why young people always find it alluring to take a trip to Goa.

The fact that the local people in Goa are so accepting and welcoming may be one of the reasons. You can find all the major religions in the state assimilating and living peacefully. People are so free spirited and it seems they do not like to interfere in others lives. They lead a carefree life! You can never find such a man-made environment (natural environment/beauty needs no mention) elsewhere in India, for sure!

Whenever you are in Goa, you can always find a jolly group of people around you that is playing joyful music. Music is an integral part of the Goan culture. Goan people are as much fond of western music, ranging from classical to jazz, from county to blues as they are for Indian music. The music has deep impact of Portuguese style, for obvious reasons! So, roaming around the small towns and even villages are just one-of-a-kind experience. It’s very alluring for one to escape from the rush of the typical Indian metro cities and take refuge of the healthy and picturesque Goa!

What to say about the state’s nightlife? As I said Goan people are very carefree, and from this you can imagine how interesting the Goan nightlife can be! Adorned with a complete westernized atmosphere, party venues, pubs, clubs and discos are quite happening. Yes, Goa is youthful and that’s one of the main reasons why young people find it enchanting. When we are talking about nightlife, how could alcohol be left out? You may often find the price of the alcoholic drinks, including imported liquor cheaper than most parts of India. So, why Goa cannot be a favorite destination of youths?

According to a research conducted by the Massey University, many immigrants from Korea are converting to Christianity in order to improve their business and social lives. Of the 31,000 Koreans who are in New Zealand, almost 90% of them attend the church regularly. This is despite the fact that Buddhism is the main religion in South Korean. And only one-fifth of the population consists of Christians.

Those attending the churches are doing so for religious reasons as well as to develop their network for business prospects apart from getting information and support. This is because many Koreans tend to face many issues pertaining to settlement, with difficult in English language which makes it difficult for them to be accepted by the local people.

20 Korean employers and 20 employees were interviewed where in it was found that around 75% admitted to being subject to some form of discrimination. According to one of the respondents, may customers tell them to go back to their nation. More so, teenagers on the streets spit and swear at them.

Since these people are comparatively earning less to what they were earning in South Korea, this also means that they cannot afford the same lifestyle that they were accustomed to in South Korea. At the same time, the expenses are very high.

Between the years 1986 and 1996, Koreans were the fastest growing community amongst the Asians. The numbers rose from mere 400 to 12,653. During the last Census, it was found out the Koreans consisted of 30,792. Most of these reside at the North Shore of Auckland.

According to church leaders, sham marriages inquiries have led to the suspension of two clergymen (the Rev Elwon John, who is aged 43 and the Rev Brian Shipsides, who is aged 54) from east London. Mr John is associate minister and Mr. Shipsides is the priest in charge. Their houses are located in Forest Gate and were investigated by the officials of the UK Border Agency.

In addition, the churches were thoroughly searched by the investigating officials. After the investigation, three people who were speculated to have organized sham marriages at All Saints have also been taken into custody.

The arrest of a Nigerian man aged 27 took place as he intended to get married to a 23 year old girl of Dutch origin. In addition, a Nigerian woman, aged 30 was also taken into custody. The Nigerian man was arrested on the suspicion of getting involved in identity card offences.

According to the Diocese of Chelmsford, these speculations and arrests do not mean that any kind of judgment has been proved on these priests. In addition co-operation has been provided to the police, along with providing pastoral care to the affected individual.

Mr. Shipsides faced arrest as he was speculated to have violated the laws related with Immigration.

The Nigerian woman has been taken into custody for facilitating the violation of rules related with immigration. They have been ordered to appear on October 4, at Inner London Crown Court.

The population of Alberta includes majority of highly educated and qualified citizens who have contributed in making Alberta as one of the sought after province.

The education sector of Alberta is nice and there are facilities of educational loans and scholarships from government and educational institution. The culture and festivals of Alberta are also diverse in nature making it a traditionally rich province.

With so many facilities comforts and hygiene, Alberta is surely an ideal place for anybody to fulfill his dream of making a home in paradise.

The world is becoming truly global with people commuting to different countries for work and education purpose. In fact, many citizens from developing countries move to developed country for better lifestyle and job opportunities. Its cold and windy nights give you a beautiful reason to have a long walk on the Mall road while enjoying some of the mouthwatering street food with your beloved. Take a ropeway to the famous Gun Hill, get cozy with your spouse and enjoy the magical view of the Himalayan peaks. Kempty fall is another reason as to why you should visit Mussoorie. Just go for it.

Goa is next! When I think of Goa, the first thing that comes to my mind is the merge of mind blowing beaches, palm trees, fenny and delicious food! Now with all these things ready to serve you, Goa can be a perfect destination for you and your beau to enjoy those special moments of your life.  The place is divided into north Goa and South Goa and both are applauded for their amazing beaches and beautiful churches!

The God’s Own Country (Kerala) offers enchanting yet spicy feel to your vacation with your spouse. From the beautiful beaches and the backwaters to the coconut trees to the spices to the filter coffee and the sea food – get connected with a whole new world. Blessing of god are always a must for a true and long-lasting relationship. Ensure that you visit the famous temples of Anantnag, Deviangan, Bijbehara, to name a few. Proceed further to Gulmarg and enjoy its unparalleled beauty! Other places to see are Bandipore, Hazratbal Shrine, Shankarcharya Temple, Leh, Pangong lake, Jama Masjid Shopian, Chhatti Padshahi Gurudwara, Zanskar, and Patnitop. Let us move to Manali and Kasol (Parvati Valley)! Nature’s true beauty resides here! Manali is a wonderful destination located in the alluring mountains of Himachal Pradesh. Well known for its scenic beauty, beautiful hills, hot springs, temples, and monasteries, Manali is applauded as a perfect honeymoon destination! Other facets that hold the power to give you goose bumps are icy glaciers, road towards Rohtang Paas, Keylong, Kothi, Triloknath, Udaypur in Pattan Valley and Manali’s Baths! The food is just amazing! From Chinese to Tibetan to Indian, tourists can enjoy all the delicacies at one place.

Kasol, on the other hand, is more towards beauty and alluring tranquility. Situated approx 4 hours from Manali, Kasol offers a brilliant view of nature along with a holy ambiance near the bank of Parvati River. I have no words to describe this place. So it is best advised to visit the place with your beloved and experience it yourself!
