Krishna Tirath, Women and Child Development Minister, has recently proposed that NRI brides should be issued dual passport in ensure that they are safely returned back to their home country in case they face betrayal by their husbands.

She also suggested that Indian Embassy abroad should keep a track of all such marriages performed at religious places.
