According to a recent news piece, Immigration experts in Punjab have ensured that prospective students (especially from North India) should not think much about the ban implemented on applications by the UK government as well as the recent racial attacks in Australia.

The immigration experts went on to say that the government of Britain will soon approve student visa application from 22 February onwards. That means that prospective students would be able to file applications to study in the UK in accordance with their preference levels.

Those applicants, who have the right documents, genuine reasons and apply via legal procedures, never suffer any rejections from the Immigration officials. Therefore, it is mandatory that applicants must apply through genuine path, without deviating from legal practices.

The experts believe that the applicants who reach the foreign countries for genuine reasons never suffer, but the ones who intend to go for PR via the path of study visa end up being in trouble.

Therefore, it is advised that parents should send their children to foreign countries along with legal documents. They should not intend to settle down on a permanent basis and choose experienced Immigration consultants to ease out the Immigration procedure.

“Right immigration advice” is the path towards a successful Immigration and a prosperous future in the desired country of your choice!

Illegal Immigration is a curse for both the immigrants as well as the country to which they are planning to move. People who fall prey to Illegal Immigration, knowingly or unknowingly, end up ruining their lives, as they are ultimately bashed from their home country as well as prospective country and end up starting a new living all over again. The process of Illegal Immigration not only spoils their time, money but their future, which they planned to craft with big dreams in their eyes!

People under false pretense and illegal documents may succeed in getting a visa approval but would not be spared for long time from the legal authorities. Therefore, it is always best to take the path of legal process from the beginning itself, to avoid any hassles in future. Certain steps that would curb Illegal immigrants are:

  • Implement the concept of fingerprinting and photo identification proof check at every Immigration check of every country.
  • Employers who intend to sponsor the legal migrants should hold a certification by the United States Immigration Services. Additionally, heavy fines should be issued to employers found using illegal immigrants.
  • Security checks at the borders should be made stringent enough to bar the entry of illegal immigrants and terrorists in another country.
  • Increase the penalties for violating Immigration regulations
  • Stop providing citizenship to the relatives and children to illegal visitors and end public benefit given to them
  • Always take guidance from a certified Immigration expert who would ensure that your documents, application procedure and other facets linked with your Immigration are carried out in the legal manner.

Krishna Tirath, Women and Child Development Minister, has recently proposed that NRI brides should be issued dual passport in ensure that they are safely returned back to their home country in case they face betrayal by their husbands.

It has been seen that various NRIs threat their wives on the basis of passport and harass them, where the wives, in turn, find themselves unable to return to their countries, due to lack of proper documents. Krishna said that we have no control over those girls who are married and sent abroad. Hence, the proposed amendment of dual passport would allow these brides to ensure a safe passage back home.

The Minister said that women are “dumped” by their NRI husband. The brides, in that case, are left in the state of a limbo. In addition, they are deprived of their passports. Keeping this facet in mind, the mentioned amendments have been proposed.

Krishna said that she is going to request the External Affairs Ministry to go for the policy of Dual Passport as one passport would remain with the girl and another with her family or as a record with the Indian Embassy.

She also said that marriages that take place at religious places should have a record so that the culprits can be tracked easily, in case they are found harassing or abusing their wives. She also suggested that Indian Embassy abroad should keep a track of all such marriages performed at religious places.

No matter whether you are moving to Canada under a Student Visa or migrating with your family, you must clearly understand the educational facets of Canada for yourself or your kids, whom so ever is applicable.

You would be glad to know that the Canadian government offers free of charge education to every child at School level. It is highly subsidized for citizens and immigrants at post schooling levels. As an immigrant, it is essential to arrive with all the necessary documents including the previous transcripts, documents on courses studied in the home country and so on. It would be a calculating decision to consult an Immigration expert and know more on the child education benefits and other mandates associated with it.

Canadian education has always been applauded for its premium educational institutions, diverse range of courses and premium faculty. If you have kids and you are planning to enroll them in a Canadian school, ensure that your child remains away from the fear of anxiety and understands the culture of Canadian schools and classrooms in advance.

Choosing the right school forms another critical element when it comes to providing the right education to your child. You can opt for a public institution, a private educational institution or faith-based schools. For post-secondary education, the choices are available in the form of Formal training (Skills), Community College, and Universities.

Know that the schooling year in Canada commences somewhere around August and September. So make your plans accordingly.

The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is the primary agency to be contacted incase you want to apply for an EB – 5 visa. This agency is under the direct supervision of the Department of Homeland Security. The USCIS California Service Centre is responsible for all the procedures for the applications applied for the regional centre designations and petitions from the investors.

After investing the money with the regional centre program, the procedure for immigration would start by filing an application with the California Service Centre (CSC).  Your application would then be assessed to see whether the project would suffice the creation of jobs within the conditional permanent residence of two years. The mode of funds acquirement would also be looked into. The application known as I – 526 petition would be approved if the desired proof has been submitted regarding the legality of the source.

Post approval of I – 526 petition, if the investor is residing outside the US, he is permitted to the complete rest of the formalities for his visa. This would be done in the US Consulate of the immigrant’s country of origin. These consulates are run by the Department of State which is responsible for the collection of all the documents. This is done by the National Visa Centre for the Department of State which is then sent to the Consulate for the final processing.

However, if the investor and his family are living in the US under the long – term non immigrant visa, they have the liberty to apply for the adjustment of status to the USCIC CSC. The mandatory documents have to be submitted. These include medical certificates and fingerprint and name based background checks in the databases of the FBI and the CIA. This procedure also involves applicants seeking a work authorization and a travel document which would allow them to move in and out of the country.

On the other hand, it has to be noted very clearly that the permanent residence is conditional is only permitted for 2 years. In the last 90 days, an I – 829 petition has to be filed by the immigrant to nullify the condition from permanent residence. This petition is assessed by the CSC to check whether the objectives of the project have been met or not. It is also seen whether or not the investor has removed his investment from the regional centre program. The immigrant and his family members should not have indulged in any form of criminal activity.

After the approval of the I – 829 petition, a permanent resident card is awarded to the candidate which is valid for 10 years. Here, he has the choice to either apply for a Green Card or be a permanent resident. Also, after 5 years, he can apply for a citizenship.
