Recently, Arun Bose the Indian hotelier who owns two Indian restaurants has come under the suspect of Australian authorities for accepting money from his employees to prepare forged certificates for migrant employees seeking the status of permanent resident in Australia.
Bose is the owner of the Kashi and Tribeni restaurants and is also the former director of Saai Bose Private Limited. He demanded money from his staff members to pay him between $1,300 and $12,000 for helping them out in obtaining the status of permanent resident in nation. This was informed by Nandalcumaran Krishnakanth who previously used to work as chef in his restaurants.
Bose used to prepare fake certificates as a proof to show that an employee has completed the requirement of working for nine hundred hours to obtain the permanent residency. By charging them the money, he used to promise them that he would prepare fake certificate for them citing that they have been employed as a chef in his restaurant and has also performed certain tasks and duties as well. He even used to provide fake certificates for those who were not employed under him. Krishnakanth also told the authorities that Bose even provided them with work references which could improve their prospects of obtaining the permanent residency.
Many proofs and evidences has come out which shows that Bose has been involved in an immigration crime but he denies all the allegations and says that he has not done any illegal work. He further sys that he has not prepared any fake certificates for his employees as all the requirements were fulfilled by them. Now the case of Arun Bose has been transferred to the Immigration Authorities of Australia from Fair Work Australia for further investigation.
