“Oh, come on, how can you guys stick to a woman for such long?”, a young boy asked his fellow. Pat came the reply from another boy… “please yaar, she is so accustomed to me and I just don’t want to hurt her feelings and betray her!” The first boy ended the conversation with “oh, please give me a break!”…he kept it short!

Above is the conversation that I got to hear while I was hanging around one of the most happening places in Delhi. I often need no company and like hanging out alone, not because I have my space or I can be happy with the solitary, but because I love observing people around, which is not possible when I am with friends. I believe solitary moments are the best opportunity to learn a few things about life and of course, people (around you). Am I sounding bit philosophical? Okay, forget it.

Well, that very conversation concerning women got me write this piece. No, I am not going to write on any of those already much discussed topics like love, trust, and qualities of a true lover…but this article is dedicated to ‘Casanovas’. While many consider the Italian adventurer, Casanova (from whom the term ‘Casanova’ derived) a great lover, but in today’s context, a Casanova is no better than a play boy. I contradict here! I may support a Casanova for his conduct, but a play boy is like out of question. So, what’s the difference?

A play boy always has a darker side. He cheats girls, rather approaches girls for his pleasure. But, there is something daring about a Casanova. You love it or not, a Casanova is charming, and of course he doesn’t cheat. He doesn’t lie, in fact, he doesn’t need to lie, since he’s all transparent with his relationships. Casanovas are free spirits and women even love their easy going attitude. Of course, there’s nothing wrong to be in several relationships (until you are married). That’s why I never went on commenting something negative about George Clooney, despite his several love relationships, I guess

Now, come to the bigger picture. Since play boy is out of question, what do you think about Casanovas? For me, Casanovas are lovable and adorable till the time when they are much single, or keep their search for one woman on. Like the first boy mentioned at the start of this article, who is young, keep the attitude to awe women. In this case, being Casanova is not wrong. A Casanova cannot go wrong with his daring attitude as long as he doesn’t harm one’s feelings and play with the latter’s life. But then, women are attracted towards Casanovas knowing everything- his attitude or his reputation as Casanova. So, there’s no point of getting hurt!

Things which we can’t speak out can be better elaborated through writing. Don’t you guys feel the same? I mean, I personally feel that there have been a lot of instances in life, when I felt that I could not express my emotions through words and I ended up messaging that person and everything seems to be fine then.

For instances, asking out a girl, saying sorry to someone, regretting some thing, opening your heart out, all these things might look tough to express on face but become a  kid’s play when we express them through writing. And trust me, we feel better. Don’t we?

According to a recent study, text messages are becoming one of the most acceptable ways to ask a girl out or you can say “approach them.” Researches in ‘Down Under’ state that Aussies find it a perfect way to express their emotions rather than speaking their heart out in front of a girl. Forget about Australians, doesn’t the whole world think that expressing the thoughts through text messages can be less daunting then speaking through mouth.

We often tend to stammer in front of a person when it comes to expressing the emotions. Goose bumps are common too. But text messages seem to be a boom for people who find it hard to use the power or oral words.

According to the research conducted by Telstra, it has been confirmed that text messages have set an altogether different rules for dating! One in two Aussies feel that text messages are a perfect way to ask someone out on a date. On the contrary, breaking up through the same means is simply not acceptable; at least that’s what half of them feel!

Executive Director Jenny Young from Telstra states that this is not at all astonishing, knowing the fact that the number of cell phones in the country exceed the number of population in Down Under.

And this clearly shows how technology rules our lives in a major way. Apart from this study, I truly believe that text messages are a perfect way to interact with another person, a person with whom you fail to get a compatibility factor through talking personally. After gaining a sense of comfort level, a stage comes when talking doesn’t seems to be a hurdle anymore.

On the contrary, people may find that a guy does not have the guts to ask face to face, but different people different mouths! As long as you have the girl with you and she is happy, you don’t have to acre about anything!

Reports say that excessive sweating can lead to shrinkage of brain and then can have an adverse effect on its functioning also. Hence, aging is bound to happen. If the grey matter is starved of water, then brain would not work properly. Therefore, to keep the matter working, drink more water. And if your child sweats excessively, ample water is what you need for the dose! The fact is that the human brain has almost 75% of water.

No, No, here I am not writing any article on the symptoms of fever or cold. Guys, these are the symptoms of meeting that someone special in your life for the very first time. It’s your first DATE! Trust me, the feeling is as bad as it can get. You can’t say anything, you can’t think anything, your dressing sense vanishes like smoke from the fag, and you end up finding nothing from your wardrobe on the “D” DAY!

Guys and girls, it’s your first date. Amidst all these symptoms, goof ups are bound to happen. So here are some of the sure shots which would help you all to become the jack of all trades, or queen I would say!

Tip no. 1: Hey you first daters out there… put your first foot right by landing at the venue at the exact time. This is NO time to show attitude, so don’t hang your date waiting for you!

Tip no. 2: Ahem Ahem: Tell me, what are you planning to wear? Work Clothes? Hahaha! Don’t ever think of doing so. Agreed that you are the Director of some company, but is it necessary to flaunt this at your first date? Just wear your best clothes, be it casuals or formals and go for the kill! Remember: you are dressed to impress your beau.

Tip No 3: Hmmm: Just be yourself. Confidence is “sexy!” No need to boast that you are high in attitude or obsessed with branded clothes, just when in reality, YOU ARE NOT! Your date would know the reality sooner or later. So why lie?

Tip No 4: Don’t bore your date with the topics which are only liked by you! Let the other speak out his or her mind too. And yes, one more thing, keep your cell phones on silent mode. Unless you are a celebrity, beware of doing things like cuddling or ogling whenever you and your partner are in a public circuit or event. Tip: Limit the degree of PDA, lest you might be called possessive or cheesy!
• When you say ‘I Love You’, mean it! Yes, saying this very popular phrase at the very early stage of your relationship can be a turn off. Besides, if you do not get the much expected response from your partner, it may land you in an awful situation. Tip: Instead of impressing her with these three words, feel them and say to her whenever it is suitable!

Above are only a few things that can freak your ladylove out. However, you cannot gauge women psyche by studying a few women. To be on the safer side, always keep the above points in mind and maintain your relationships in a smoother manner!

Let us face it guys! The crowd is lacking the buzz, the rush for IPL tickets is low and people are not even discussing about IPL3, the way it was being discussed in the first two IPLs!

Okay, let us discuss some of the facets that may come into play in making IPL, a NOT MUCH talked show of the town! Have a look:

• The first factor would be the threat of terrorism revolving around one of the biggest sporting events. With the plus point that it is happening in India, the negative point can be that India never lags behind when it comes to unexpected terrorist activities, which may happen anytime, anywhere!
• It is happening in March: The most unwanted phase of a year for students! Guys, they face their exams. Will their parents allow them to stick to their TV screens from 4pm to 12am regularly? No!
• The ticket prices are hiking every single moment. While the price of one ticket for the Hockey World Cup held in Delhi was as low as 50 bucks, the same may go as high in thousands, especially when you have some of the craziest fans in India, who can kill anyone just to get a glimpse of their favorite cricketers.
• We all know that Pakistani players are not participating in the IPL3, but don’t you think that their presence would be missed in the matches? The stupendous batting of Shahid Afridi, the killing bowling of Umar Gul, to name a few, would surely be missed this time!
• What next? The marriage between the IPL3 and YouTube may not be seen in a favorable light as not many audiences would show patience while the video is buffering and your favorite player is on the crease! At least, I won’t!
