It was not long back when I wrote one buzz on “friendship” (http://blog.abhinav.com/yes-you-are-my-friend/)! I guess this topic of “friendship” is cuddling me big time! But that’s how life is. May be I love my friends so much that every second day, I end up devoting one article to them. Or may be it is the hangover of “3 Idiots” which I saw yesterday night! What ever it is, without deviating much from the topic, let me write something about some of the must have types of friends a girl must have! Ask a girl and she will tell you about the millions and millions of moments spent with her girlfriends. Read on…

Here is the first type of friends a girl must have: Someone who is your sister and your soul mate, someone who understands you more than yourself and someone, who is always there with you whenever you need her! Your deepest secrets are store in her stomach with extreme safety and she is the one whom you can regard as your true companion when every one leaves your hand in the moment of misery! Yes, she is the one!

Here the second most loved friend you must have: A Fashionista! She is always updated with the latest trends of the fashion industry and hence serves as a great source of updating your life too, when it comes to trendy outfits and what fits you the best. She will inform you, whether you need to lose weight or gain it, whether you need to go to a gym or do yoga! With her around, you can never go wrong with your dressing sense.

The gossip lover: She would acquaint you with everything which is happening in the world around you, when you yourself were busy in your own little world. She knows who is having affair with whom, who are the love birds in the office, which neighbor is doing bitching about whom and the list is endless…

The money bank: you know you can rely upon this friend, when you are all broke (be it financially or you need a back up for your future plans). You know this girl is there to provide you the financial stability you need in life, when ever required (but that does not mean, you are using her) No! We have called her a “friend,” so, no point in using her!

The intelligent/genius: you must have a girl friend, who is smart, intelligent and practical enough to give you the right advice in every matter. She knows about everything, be it football, politics, cricket, movies, work, what is happening in the world, and EVERYTHING! She would never deviate from the topic and offer you the smartest advice in the world (be it matter related to your love life, making investments for future or any other issue). In short, she is the DUDE of your group!

The real Foodie: She knows every possible and best eat out in the city. So, in order to fulfill your cravings for food and give you the best time out, this is the friend to look up to!

Mind you, here I am not at all saying that these are must-have friends just because you need to solve certain purposes in your life! NO… What I am saying is that friends like these complete the group! And I am lucky to have all these friends in my life! Thank you folks!

I could have given the title “The Best of Europe” to this blog, but “Alluring Destinations in Europe,” as a title brings out the romance in true sense! Here are some of the enthralling “must-visit” places in Europe.

• London: There are thousands of activities and places to explore in London. Let us start from Buckingham Palace as its majestic grandeur is worth witnessing once. Now let us move to the British London Eye, as visit to London is incomplete without the same. It has won various awards for National and International tourism. Other hot spots are St Paul’s Cathedral, British Museum and London Tower, to name a few.
• Paris can’t be left behind when it comes to “Romance.” This ever-charming city is a wonderful place to cuddle with your beau hand-in-hand! Seine River has almost become a kissing spot for all the couples who come here! You must have seen the same scene in various French movies. Try out the movie act yourself.  Chateau de Versaille is another luxurious place that you can not afford to miss. Plus there is the famous Eiffel Tower. Bon Voyage.
• Let us talk something about Venice now. Exploring Venice is like an experience that you would never forget at least in this lifetime. Some of the attractive places to scout are the Piazza San Marco, St. Mark’s Basilica, Campanile, and Museo Correr. Wrap yourselves in Venice attire and see how your mood takes an altogether different swing.
• Of course, how can you forget Switzerland? With its romantic “mountainscapes” of Alps and scenic beauty, it forms one of the most liked destinations amongst love birds. Make a point to visit Bern. In addition, the cuisines offer a blend of various cultures including French, German and Italian.
• Next comes Glasgow in Scotland. A brilliant place to be with your beloved, Glasgow is a charming hot spot to enjoy those special moments. It provides a true essence of Victorian architecture and exotic night life at one place!
• Athens and Troy are two most beautiful places to enjoy. Visitors can adore the history associated with Homer’s Iliad and relive the grandeur and love between Helen and Paris and Achilles and Briseis all over again.

Mussoorie, the “Queen of the Hills” is one of my favorites. It always offers a fresh ambiance every time I visit the place. The city is located 34 km from Dehradun, in Uttarakhand and serves as an enticing destination for people from all over the globe. Its cold and windy nights give you a beautiful reason to have a long walk on the Mall road while enjoying some of the mouthwatering street food with your beloved. Take a ropeway to the famous Gun Hill, get cozy with your spouse and enjoy the magical view of the Himalayan peaks. Kempty fall is another reason as to why you should visit Mussoorie. Just go for it.

Goa is next! When I think of Goa, the first thing that comes to my mind is the merge of mind blowing beaches, palm trees, fenny and delicious food! Now with all these things ready to serve you, Goa can be a perfect destination for you and your beau to enjoy those special moments of your life.  The place is divided into north Goa and South Goa and both are applauded for their amazing beaches and beautiful churches!

The God’s Own Country (Kerala) offers enchanting yet spicy feel to your vacation with your spouse. From the beautiful beaches and the backwaters to the coconut trees to the spices to the filter coffee and the sea food – get connected with a whole new world. Let us move to Manali and Kasol (Parvati Valley)! Nature’s true beauty resides here! Manali is a wonderful destination located in the alluring mountains of Himachal Pradesh. Well known for its scenic beauty, beautiful hills, hot springs, temples, and monasteries, Manali is applauded as a perfect honeymoon destination! Other facets that hold the power to give you goose bumps are icy glaciers, road towards Rohtang Paas, Keylong, Kothi, Triloknath, Udaypur in Pattan Valley and Manali’s Baths! The food is just amazing! From Chinese to Tibetan to Indian, tourists can enjoy all the delicacies at one place.

Kasol, on the other hand, is more towards beauty and alluring tranquility. Situated approx 4 hours from Manali, Kasol offers a brilliant view of nature along with a holy ambiance near the bank of Parvati River. I have no words to describe this place. Hawaii tops my chart of some of the most steaming destinations in the US. Thinking about the wonderful beaches, fresh aroma and the brewing destinations in itself gives me goose bumps when I think about this wonderful destination! In addition, it is a magnificent place for all the love birds and honeymoon couples out there. Re-discover your love in the blissful ambiance of Hawaii and fly to this enchanting place.

Las Vegas grabs the second position! It is applauded as the “Entertainment Capital of the World.” It offers a 24-hour excitement and fun for people of all age groups. Who said steaming destinations are only for the young generation! People from all over the world flock in numbers and enjoy the piping hot aura of the place with their loved ones. Love here, is in the air all the time! Some of the most enthralling places to visit in Las Vegas are Bellagio Fountains, Mirage Volcano, Forum Shops at Caesars  Palace, and Stratosphere Tower, to name a few!

Texas comes next! Its USP is its rocking night-life. The place offers a gamut of options in the form of best bars, clubs and restaurants. My favorite is the area of Deep Ellum. Just drop in to Sol’s Taco Lounge and enjoy the best ever margarita!

Last, but definitely not the least is Florida. If you are a beach lover and enjoy diving with your loved ones in the blue waters, then this place is surely meant for you! Of course, nothing can beat an evening with your loved one watching the cozy sunset! Miami adds a cheery on its cake as its night life is truly out of this world. The festive atmosphere of Miami is perfect for any rake personality out there!

I believe that Romance is where your beloved is! Any place, no matter how beautiful it is, will look bland if your loved one is not near you! Still, I would like to share my list of some of the top romantic destinations for all of you. Here is the list…

Aspen, Colorado tops my list of top romantic destinations. This skier’s destination makes a perfect place for all the love birds out there. Even after ten or fifteen years of your marriage, the place holds the capacity to re-develop the love inside you once you land on this blissful destination. You can spend a quiet evening with your beau and sit beside a roaring fire or go for a night out in the famous pubs and clubs that the place is immensely famous for.

Second on the list would definitely be Venice, Italy! Many of you would agree with me, but there are some who may not. It depends upon individual preferences but this ancient city surely holds the charm to sweep your beloved off her feet. Ensure that you go for an evening gondola ride alongside the beautiful and romantic Venice canals and express your unending and enduring love for each other.

Third on the list would be New York. NYC has everything to enchant your lover and spend some beautiful moments of your life together.
