Aussie’s Unemployment Rate Crashed!

Creation of more than 100,000 jobs in Australia in the last three months has allowed the country to collapse its unemployment rate by a huge margin. Stats say that Aussie now has an unemployment rate of 5.7 percent as compared to 6.5 and 7.8 in New Zealand and Britain respectively.

Victoria has shown a massive increase in the number of jobs available in the province. Stats proved that Victoria showed a further increase of 37,900 full-time workers amid the time period of October and November. It means that an average of 1200 new jobs was created every day! In addition, Victoria has been applauded for showing the highest jobs growth as compared to any other state.

Coming to the stats of other countries, NSW grabbed an additional 11,800 jobs amid the time frame of October and November. Also, Queensland has an unemployment rate of 6.1 while NSW has 5.98. The facts clearly show that Australia is turning out to be a gold mine, for prospective employees to dig in for more jobs every single time.

But some people feel that the stats are pointing out in an adverse direction. Shadow treasurer Joe Hockey feels that it is a warning and think that it is the time “One must stop spending so much money and re-allocate the same to other places like hospitals.” The cure for this, as suggested by him, is to stop putting upward pressure on interest rates and concentrate of taking the country out of debts.
