The Government of Australia has brought out the ANZSCO list which enlists all the occupations where in there is a short of skilled labor for the nation to contribute to the specific industry. The ANZSCO list consists of two sub-lists known as Schedule 3 and Schedule 4.

• Based on either optical fibre, wireless communication media or the wired ones, designing communication bearers.
• Determining and supervising the performance as well as standards pertaining to safety and for procedures related to operations, maintenance, modifications as well as repair of these systems.
• Design, develop and execute signal processing algorithms by selecting proper hardware and software.

Apart from the above, there are additional responsibilities which the professional would be expected to perform.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher education.
