The Entrepreneur Category is one of the business categories under the Immigration New Zealand residence instructions which facilitates businesspeople to obtain a resident visa, given they are able to exhibit that they have been taking active participation in business and contributing to the Kiwi economy.
Below are the requirements a prospective applicant must meet in order to obtain a NZ resident visa under the Entrepreneur Category:
- The principal applicant of the Entrepreneur Category must possess a Long Term Business Visa beforehand; AND
- The principal applicant is required to transfer an amount of 0.5 million NZ Dollars to the Kiwi country; AND
- The principal applicant must meet the condition that he/she has successfully set up a business in Kiwi country; AND
- The principal applicant along with other family members above 16 years of age who are included in the resident visa application all must satisfy the minimum English language requirements; AND
- Besides meeting language requirements, all of the family members and the principal applicant must meet health and character requirements.
