According to a Canadian visa official, the country will issue a 10-year visa program for Indian nationals from the month of July. This announcement was made on the last week by the government of Canada. The government stated that the duration for multi-entry Canadian visa for Indian nationals will be extended to 10 years from the current duration of five years.

The Deputy Immigration Program Manager of the High Commission of Canada said that this visa program will be applicable from the middle of July in this year. He also mentioned that for proper execution of this program, certain technical changes are required to make in this visa program.

According to the International Trade Minister & Asia-Pacific Gateway Minister, this new visa program will strengthen the ties between India and Canada and will lead to economic growth for both the countries.
