The constitutional monarchy of Denmark issues Denmark Green Card under the Danish Green Card Scheme which makes it possible for the applicants interested in the country to work and live there, along with their immediate family members, such as their spouses.

Points-based System

This card is issued on the basis of particular points granted under a series of criteria, and this covers education, age, flexibility, language skills, work experience, etc., of the candidates.

The card is issued if one scores not less than 100 points under different categories. Another vital requirement for getting the Danish Green Card is to be in a comfortable condition on the financial front.

Education

A recognized degree duly evaluated by the responsible organization is required. The applying individuals could pocket, for a Bachelor’s Degree, 30 points, and for a PhD, 80 points, and for a vocation related education, 10 bonus points.

Language

Under this section, as much as 30 points are up for grabs. The aspirants must pass an exam, with success, for this. They could also pocket points if they can prove that they have done one year of study in higher education in any of the languages covered by the concerned organization of Denmark.

Work Experience

The aspirants could score as many as 15 points under this class.

Compliance

Applicants could also claim about 15 points for adaptableness in case they have been educated or have work related experience on the European Continent.

Age

In a situation where the applicants are under 34, they would get 15 points. However, if they are above 34, they would get only 10 points.

Those who get a go-ahead for a residence visa now get a D-Visa. This enables them to travel to the country inside an agreed extent of time.
