The US president Barack Obama finally broke his silence over the much talked issue of immigration reform and said that he is willing to take the issue in hands as soon as possible.
Obama made it clear that he completely favors the word ‘immigration reform’ and committed to make a great endeavor to advance the immigration reform bill by the next year, at his first press conference after wining the US presidential election.
“I am quite sure that we will be succeeded in doing immigration reform,” he said
The US president also said that he is fully prepared and seeing the positive signs as the Republican Party is rebuked after the election results and seems to be more anxious to support the immigration reform.
“We have privilege to toggle the moments,” he said.
The Republicans tend to get a chance by the administration for increasing in regulations and border security, in return of their wonderful effort of offering path to obtain citizenship or permanent residency to those of 11m undocumented migrants living in the United States of America. They however need to learn English, pay taxes and fees.
Hispanic immigrants played a significant role in recently held presidential election and helped the president to win the election. Obama won the election after claiming 71 percent votes by Hispanic immigrants as he showed his great willing of immigration reform.
The president’s effort can be talked in terms of introduction of ‘Deferred Action’ program that grants childhood undocumented migrants to live in the country and spend a peaceful life.
