Canadian FSTP January 02, 2013 Scheme Invites Qualified Workers who have their professions listed in tabulation A and Tabulation B. These Tabulations have a total of 43 listed specializations with tabulation A carrying along annual sealing on maximum number of grants per profession.
Professions listed in tabulation B have no such annual number maximum bar on number of grants. But to ensure that program runs through smoothly in its first year, an annual number bar has been established at cumulative 3000 grants. The move has been projected as a step to ensure that the evaluation process of applications is expedited rapidly and by the end of the term of first year i.e. 1st January 2014 there is not pending filed left to deal with.
This move will also help the authorities to gauge efficiency of new incorporation. This program specifically caters professions that can be termed and blue collar jobs or basic trades. In the past it had been experienced that people working in tabulated basic trades could not access and approach the immigration under prevalent federal skilled scheme owing to high and literally unachievable parameters defined under the FSW program.
It was natural for people in such trades to stay away from immigrating to Canada when they were being asked to evidence high level of English linguistic skills, which was unattainable. Government of Canada appreciated this fact besides other compelling reasons for disenchantment of basic trade professionals i.e. huge financial resource evidencing that was required as initial subsistence money after landing in Canada.
Now with Canadian FSTP January 02, 2013 Scheme in place authorities have effectively disconnected the basic professions from FSW program. This scheme will only focus on growing needs and aspiration of various performing sectors of economy of Canada.
There have been regions and territories which have been suffering due to unavailability of qualified basic skilled workers. This prepares the ground for waiving of huge financial resource evidencing as the people filing their requests for permanent residential permits will be required to substantiate a qualified and authentic job offer from an employment giver in Canada or qualification certification from a regional agency in specified profession listed in tabulation A or B of NOC part. You would also be required to evidence a 2 year employment exposure in previous 5 years immediately preceding request filing.
The primary parameter that you need to meet to Qualify for Canadian FSTP January 02, 2013 Scheme is basic linguistic skills in one of the official languages of Canada. Your linguistic skills must be at par with CLB 5 in speaking and listening and CLB 4 in reading and writing.
