In a remarkable development, which even though may not much inspire many immigrants to the UK, the nation’s current immigration minister has reportedly informed the media that spot-checks of individuals’ immigration standing at the many national railway stations will carry-on like before.

Mark Harper, the minister, stressed that the drives were intelligence-led & productive in targeting those who lack the authority to be on the nation’s soils. The minister refuted the allegations that any kind of racial profiling was in play, adding the basis of the actions were intelligence and people’s activities.

In the month of August this year, a chain of operations were conducted across 4 major London stations even while complaints were filed then that, though police & immigration authorities were stopping several non-white travelers, they were not giving any attention to white commuters.

Talking about the development, a parliamentarian alleged that numerous people had registered complaints with her that just non-white persons were being prevented. She stressed that she had been informed that the officials were only stopping those whose skin color was not fair, and who seemed from either Asia or Africa, and not those who were white. She added that such type of fishing mission at public places was wholly deplorable.

Echoing somewhat similar sentiments another involved person alleged that many people were unceremoniously stopped only due to their skin color. She observed that although there were prohibited aliens from every nation, she was astonished as to why the spotlight in the UK was only on person’s skin-color.
