This blog deals with the info on Processing Timelines for Australian applications. Consider the following cases to have a glimpse of the Processing Timelines:
- If the prospective applicant has applied for an onshore or offshore GSM visa before the end of the year 2009, has his/her nominated occupation present on the Critical Skills List, then the processing time would take somewhere around an year from the lodgement date for the application to be finalized.
- Your application won’t be finalized before the end of the year 2012, if the nominated application is NOT on the CSL and you have applied for an offshore GSM visa in the later part of the year 2009.
- The same case, i.e., if the nominated application is NOT present on the CSL, and the applicant has applied for an onshore GSM visa later in 2009, the processing time may even go to the end of 2011 for your application to get finalized.
The processing times mentioned in this blog should NOT be regarded as an official confirmation from any legalized body. However, the Processing Times are subject to change, depending upon the case study of prospective applicants.
* Please note that Visa Subclasses 476 and 887 are exempt from the priority processing changes
