Applicants have to clear the points test scoring at least 100 points. Eligible candidates may get permit for three years which may be further extended for a period of four years.
India Process for Denmark Immigration
In India, you may start the immigration procedure, either by visiting the Denmark embassy/high commission in person, located in New Delhi the capital city of India; or by simply visiting the official website of the country. Once you are quite sure about the specific category you wish to process your application under, you can submit your visa petition on any working day–from Monday to Friday. Each application should be duly submitted at least 15 days earlier to the date you wish to travel. You may submit your petition personally, or through the VFS Global Services Private Limited in New Delhi.
Note: if you are processing your application, through the VFS Global Service Private Limited or immigration consultant, before the final verdict is delivered on your application you may have to appear before the visa officer at the Embassy of Denmark in New Delhi. Precautions for prospective immigrants
- Passport should have at least two blank pages.
- The issuing date of passport should be within the last 10 years.
- Passport should have minimum of three months validity from date of arriving back in India.
- Complete petition form, along with the supporting documents, are accepted along with two recent passport sized photographs. Applications with digital photographs will be rejected.
