Hungary immigration from India

It is not a very difficult task; the Embassy/High Commission of Hungary is located in New Delhi–the capital City of India. Applications under any visa category may be submitted on any working day at the VFS Global Services Private Limited, the authorized visa application center. However, it is not an authorized decision making body and each petition will be evaluated by the High Commission/Consulate of Hungary based in India.

Visa Process

1. Application can be submitted at VFS Global Services Private Limited, an authorized visa application center and operational from many cities throughout the country.
2. Before you submit your petition, make sure that you yourself are clear of your main purpose of Hungary visit.
3. Complete your visa application form in a clear handwriting, and affix your latest passport size photographs. You may easily download the application form from the official website.
4. Before you present your petition, make sure that you have a minimum of two blank pages with a validity of a minimum three months from the intended date of departure from the nation.
5. Certify that your application is well supported by the required documents.

Important: Effective from March 15, 2015 all visa petitions will be accepted as per their jurisdiction. To all prospective immigrants, it is advised to go through the VFS official website. It has mentioned major guidelines which will help you to submit your visa application accurately, preventing any possibility of unnecessary delays and/or mistakes.

Hungary has stringent immigration procedure, and handwritten passports issued soon after April 1, 2010, which is not readable by machines, will not be entertained anyhow. Passport issued soon after April 1, 2015 with manual correction pertaining to biographical date page will also be not entertained for further visa application.

Once your petition is submitted, prior to decision making if required, you may also have to appear for a personal interview conducted by the Hungary Consulate/Embassy in India.
