Special Needs Teacher is the occupation which is present on the list of ANZSCO in Australia. The occupation is in high demand in the land of Kangaroos. It is listed on both Schedule 3 and Schedule 4; hence the prospective applicant who is intending to work in Australia can file application in either of the two, provided he qualifies for the same.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- The applicant is required to assess the abilities and limitations of the child with respect to his disabilities and what ever special gifts he has been given by the god.
- The applicant is required to plan and implement special programs so that the child is assisted in a better way. Additionally he needs to administer certain firms and come with outcomes and results.
- The tasks include teaching basic academic curriculum to the students and provide them with assistance related with devising instrumental materials and other methods.
- Counseling and providing advice to the parents and teachers in the needs of the child and the availability of special techniques to assist the students.
- Planning schedule sessions for the students after counseling with other staff members.
- Developing interests in the students with regard to their skills and interest.
Qualification
- The minimum qualification is to have a bachelor degree or higher qualification.
- Relevant experience may be required in some cases.
- Or the recruiter may ask for on-the-job training.
- Or/And All the above qualifications can be asked by the recruiter
- Registration or licensing is required.
