Australia Immigration centre faces Mass Breakout!

In a recent incident, Australian immigration detention centre witnessed a mass breakout, leaving 80 asylum seekers breaking the doors, followed by days of riots; the same has been confirmed by the police officials.

As far as the Media reports are concerned, it has been confirmed that the protestors are Afghans and are showing their protests against the detention, seeking protection!

The police officers have confirmed that the protests saw end when 76 of the asylum seekers were taken into custody. In addition to that five (two of them suffered from heat exhaustion) were hospitalized under immigration custody. Assistant Police Commissioner Rob Kendrick has confirmed that they succumbed to the police custody without any refrains.

The incident happened after 100 people torched their belongings and showed their disapprovals by protesting on the roof of the building. If reports are to be believed, the centre is decked with 151 Indonesians who are speculated to have links with people-smuggling, while the remaining are the ones who are living with expired visas.

It has been confirmed by Immigration Minister Chris Evans that the ones who have broke down are asylum seekers. He has stated that a majority of them had their claims for asylum denied previously, and now they are protesting! He went on to say that these people are not criminals. They just want support for their claims.
