Proof for Dependence Children!

When it comes to dependents applying for the New Zealand Resident Visa, evidence of dependency has to be catered for the application to be processed further as well as the visa officer to be convinced of the genuineness of the applicant in question.

In such cases, the following documents should be provided by the Principal Applicant. These documents should clearly certify as proof of the relationship between the principal applicant and partner with the dependent children.

  • Birth certificates which clearly state the names of the parents.
  • Incase of adopted children, documents such as adoption papers which prove that the child has been legally adopted by the principal applicant or his partner.
  • A separate declaration by the adoptive parents should be submitted incase the child has been adopted by custom.
