WELLINGTON: Report says that India is the largest source of student provider to the land of Kiwis. The news indirectly points out in the direction that more and more Indians are gradually choosing New Zealand as their new prospective destination to study, deviating from other cliché countries.
New Zealand is fresh and is decked with plenty of ace students which are some of the facets which are attracting these students not only from India but from all over the word. Figures further say that issuance of almost nine thousand student permits have occurred, granting the Indian students the right to study in the beautiful nation.
Date by the “Department of Labor’s migration trends and outlook 2009-10” says that this has happened for the first time that students have scored the ratio of more than fifty percent amongst all the overseas students who come to study in the land of Kiwis.
According to Sandeep Singh, a student from India who is at present studying in NZ is of the view that the country is becoming one of the popular choices of students coming in from India because of its various facets, one of them being a “peaceful” nation. He is at present enrolled in the National Technology Institute located in Auckland
Sheela Ansari, who is a marketing manager, says that the institute gives emphasis of enhancing into new student markets and has realized that Indian market is decked with ample amount of potential.
Reportedly, a 10 percent overall growth in revenue has been witnessed from the overseas students last annum, while a drop has been seen in the issuance of student permits from seventy three thousand seven hundred and sixty six in 2009 to seventy three thousand four hundred and thirty two last year.
