Below are the evidence requirements needed to support the relationship of parents (principal applicant) to their children who are New Zealand citizens or residents under the Parent Retirement Category to obtain a NZ residence class visa:
- Original copies of birth certificates; OR
- Original copies of household registration documents, in case they establish the relationship of the children to their parent(s); OR
- Original copy of adoption evidence, which verifies the relationship of the children to the parents.
- Original copies of any other documents that can establish the relationship of the children to their parents.
Evidence of immigration status of adult child in New Zealand
Below are the evidence requirements that can support the fact that the principal applicant’s adult child is in the Kiwi country as a Kiwi citizen:
- Original copy of a valid New Zealand passport
- Original copy of the Certificate of New Zealand Citizenship
- Original copy of recent official citizenship statement issued by NZ Department of Internal Affairs
- Original copy of a New Zealand birth certificate
- Original copy of a foreign passport that endorses the adult child’s New Zealand citizenship.
