The objective of New Zealand’s Migrant Investment Categories is to lure overseas migrants to invest finances in local as well as government firms by granting resident visas to those who wish to make a significant contribution to New Zealand’s economy. The Migrant Investment Categories are comprised of two sub-categories. They are:
- Investor 1 Category and
- Investor 2 Category
Let us have a look at the Investor 1 Category of the New Zealand’s business immigration:
- In order to be eligible to immigrate under this category, the principal applicant meet requirements for health and character; AND
- The principal applicant must invest 10 million NZ Dollars in the Kiwi country in an acceptable investment for a period of 3 years.
