In order to be eligible to apply for a New Zealand resident visa under the Investor 2 Category of New Zealand Migrant Investment the principal applicant must nominate at least 1.5 million NZ Dollars to invest in the Kiwi country. Points are awarded for the amount of funds the applicant wishes to invest in the country. Let us have a look at the investment requirements:
- The principal applicant must nominate funds of 1.5 million NZ Dollars to be invested in the Kiwi country. Or he/she can nominate assets which is equal to the amount; AND
- He/she must demonstrate his/her ownership over that nominated funds or assets; AND
- He/she must also exhibit that the nominated funds or assets are earned/ acquired lawfully.
- Any investment fund should satisfy the conditions of an acceptable investment set out by the INZ.
Evidence of the nominated funds and assets
- The principal applicant is required to provide evidence of the funds/assets to the value of the desired investment funds; AND
- He/she is required to provide evidence to support the fact that the nominated funds/assets have been earned/acquired lawfully; AND
- The evidentiary documents provided to support the above must be maximum 3 months old at the date the resident visa application is filed; AND
