Australia introduces priority processing arrangements for Skilled Migration Visa

An announcement of new priority processing arrangements for Australia skilled migration Visa came from Australian Immigration and Citizenship Minister, Chris Bowen.

The priority processing agreements are subjected to be applicable on Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) and Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (RSMS), and also concerned for allowing the DIAC (Department of Immigration and Citizenship Australia) for consideration of visa application in priority order, which is taken into consideration by the ministers appropriately.

Under the new majors, the highest priority will be given to some top Australia visa subclasses like 186, 187, 188, 189, 190 and 490

DIAC, however, confirmed that the new arrangements have been introduced after considering the actual requirements of industries focusing on the skills having great demand across the country and address them properly. In other words, it comes to satisfy all the economic needs of the country by supervising that the Skilled Migration Program is an effective towards country’s economic development.

All the current applications that are to be processed will be affected by the recent priority processing arrangements. Besides, those applications, which are in the final stage of processing, will also be affected by the new majors.

The priority processing arrangements tend to be changed taking in respect of country’s economic situation.
