Federation of Indian Students of Australia Inc’s spokes person Gautam Gupta has a different story to tell in his own words. Contrary to people’s belief and what other think about Australia after the racial attacks, Gupta applauded Australia as a more safer destinations, especially for India as compared to its position three years back.
He went on to say that a number of suggestions have been approved by the government of Australia, hence ensuring the safety of Indians living in the land of Kangaroos. Additionally, students intending to study in Australia are changing their perspective about Australia as a prospective immigration destination and are thinking all positive about moving there. Their views are changing and Australia is now being taken into the category of a safe country!
It has been reported that courtesy the racial attacks, more than forty thousand students left the country in order to be a part of other countries in the world. Australia was left with a bad image, courtesy the racial attacks on people of Indian communities. But things are changing now.
People living in Australia have optimistic stories to tell now. They have nodded that situation has changed and people are facing no fear while commuting from one place to another, particularly in public transports. Additionally, jobs are being granted to Indians and people from Asian communities on a fair manner, without any prejudice.
Although, students living here are suggesting the introduction of more interactive programs to ensure the lessening of communication gap between all.
