- Employer Nomination Scheme (ENS) – it is a permanent category and allows the applicant to live and work in the country indefinitely under one of the following streams, i.e., the agreement stream, the temporary residence transaction stream, and the direct entry stream.

- At the time of submitting the application, the applicant must be between the age group of 18 and 50.
- He must have a fair knowledge of the English language.
- His occupation must be listed either on the Skilled Occupation List (SOL) or the Consolidated Skilled Occupation List (CSOL).
- He must be assessed by an authorized assessing body.
- He must be in a good health and hold a good character.
