Also known as the ‘Land of Milk and Honey’, the Maple Leaf Country attracts thousands of skilled workers, from every corner of the world.
The reason why the country has become a hot immigration destination for skilled workers is because it gives a red carpet welcome to them through Canada Express Entry 2015.
It is an unprecedented offering from the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) and introduced last year, in the first week of January, to manage various programmes, such as certain portion of the Provincial Nominee Programme (PNP), Federal Skilled Traders Programme (FSTP), Federal Skilled Worker Programme (FSWP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Under the system, immigration to the country has become much faster and easy for those with the right education and skills and the intention to live and work in the country permanently. It is pro-immigration in nature and is a complete electronic system.
Candidates Aare selected through frequent draws with the ability to bring a difference in the country’s economy. Selected applicants are issued an Invitation to Apply (ITA) and they have 60 days to apply for Canadian Residency (PR) and move to the nation.
How the Canada Express Entry 2015 system works?
For those who are not aware about the system here’s a brief! To be considered, each applicant is required to create an online profile in the form of Expression of Interest (EoI) along with other details. They are also required to submit a statement why they wish to live and work in the nation. Those applicants, who successfully meet the eligibility criteria of any of the programmes mentioned above, will be placed in the ‘Express Entry Pool’ for further consideration.
In the second stage, they will be raked against each other according to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Lastly, applicants with the highest points will be issued an Invitation to apply (ITA) to apply for PR. As per some reports, the Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) aims to attract up to 2, 85,000 new skilled workers by the end 2015 alone.
In other circumstances, moving to the country is really a tough task. The latest system has redefined the definition of Canada Immigration and has made the complete process easy. In just a year’s time, the system has won the hearts of 100s of 1000s of trained workers, especially those who see themselves developing the country. It has opened the new realms for those applicants who otherwise find it really hard to move to their dream destination.
In order to bring good results, the CIC has agreed to invest $14 million in the very first year. The number is equal to the yearly budget of any small country which will be followed by an annual investment of $14 million annually.
