The scheme will function on basis of the 2 tabulations of profession that have been specifically created to define the expanse and premise of Federal Skilled Trade Classification Scheme. The 2 tabulations have been named as tabulation A and tabulation B and have been extracted from the 2011 edition of required trade’s tabulation – NOC

The tabulation A has been created to cater to the requirements of the professions that are facing a modest or rather a reasonable shortage of trained manpower resources in the local labor pool. This tabulation has been populated with 17 professions and these subclasses have been tagged with an annual number sealing of 100 slots per profession. The annual maximum sealing of 100 slots will be applicable in all cases in all instances i.e. whether entrants have valid and acceptable employment offer or qualification certification from either a state or from regional traineeship agency.

Tabulation B of Occupations Listed In NOC For Canada FSTP 02, 2013 has been populated with 26 professions and reflect the areas which are facing a more dire and deep deficit of trained human resources in various performing sector in federal and state perspective. This tabulation will not be having any annual sealing on number of slots per profession.
