Quebec Skilled Workers: Eligibility for this specific programme includes that you must apply to the Quebec Government for a certificate of selection (Certificat de sélection du Québec). This shows that Quebec has accepted you as an immigrant. If the province chooses you, you must then apply to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for PR. Applicants are also required to have a medical exam and get a police check (certificate).
Federal Skilled Worker: Eligibility for this scheme requires the applicants to possess suitable settlement funding, Score sufficient points under the skilled worker point grid comprising of the six selection factors, possess one-year of continuous full-time paid work experience or the equivalent in part-time continuous employment within the previous 10 years listed under the applicable National Occupational Classification (NOC) system, and undergo a successful security background and medical examination.
Provincial Nominees: If you’re applying through paper based process you must meet the minimum requirements of one of the province or territory’s non-Express Entry streams and must be nominated under that stream. If you’re applying through the Express Entry you must meet the minimum requirements of a province or territory’s Express Entry PNP stream and must be nominated under that stream. Create an Express Entry profile and show that you meet the minimum criteria for Express Entry, including the requirements of one of the immigration programmes it covers.
Entrepreneurs and Self-employed: You must have the relevant experience and wish to be self-employed in the country. You’re also required to meet the criteria for the self-employed people and meet the medical and security conditions. It is also essential that you take part in cultural activities or athletics at a world-class level, and been self-employed in cultural activities or athletics, or are experienced in managing a farm.
Federal Skilled Trades Class: To be eligible, you must plan to live outside the province of Quebec, meet the required levels in English or French for each language ability, have at least two years of full-time work experience, meet the job requirements for that skilled trade as set out in the NOC, except for needing a certificate of qualification, and have an offer of full-time employment for a total period of at least one year.
Investors: Investors must show that they have business experience, have a net worth of at least 1,600,000 Canadian Dollars that was gained legally and invest 800,000 Canadian Dollars.
