So, what makes a country most sought-after? While the very survey has targeted 140 cities of the world, Canada as a country again rose as the top dog with three of its cities gaining enviable position among five top cities in the world. Precisely, Canadian city, Toronto is the 4th best city to live in, as per the survey carried out by the Economist Intelligence Unit. Vancouver and Calgary are the other two cities making it to the top five of the list.

While Canada actually dominated the list of best cities, Australia closely followed Canada, by having Melbourne, Sydney, Perth and Adelaide amongst the top ten cities. The 140 cities considered were rated on a number of factors, such as environment and culture; infrastructure; healthcare; education and stability.

As Canada and Australia have become the clear winners it would not be wrong if we conclude that these countries are once again going to be on the priority list of immigration destinations. The countries have always been receiving some of the largest migrant communities, needless to say!

Actually speaking, cities which have ended up being in the top ten are some of the favorable places on the Earth to live. The amenities and facilities available in these cities make them most desirable and sought-after places to lead a better life. Superior and healthy lifestyle, clean environment, low crime rate, affluent economies and in majority cases, low unemployment rates are some of the common factors in these cities.
