Recently Jason Kenney, Immigration Minister of Canada announced the introduction of Canadian Language Training Vouchers that are meant to assist the new prospective immigration applicants and enhance their skills in English and/or French language.

According to Kenney, a proficiency in both or either of the two languages would add on to the benefit as far as the new immigrants are concerned. It will serve as a perfect means to finding better job prospects and adjusting well in the Canadian society. He further stated that whatever is done in the field of assisting the new comers with language training is always a step towards the right direction.

According to the set pilot program, 2000 immigrants would be chosen in Ontario, Nova Scotia and Alberta and will be given “Language Training Vouchers”. The selection would be done on a random basis.
