Dream is to migrate to the US, but entry has been denied! This is not my or your story, but can be the story of that third person who may have aspirations to make it big in the country, but somehow his visa has been denied! Now, he is unsure as to why this has happened to him… Probably, a criminal background/conviction/case was linked with his case or the documents required for the same were not in order or fake! What ever is the case, first step would be NOT to panic.
OR, the person is a genuine applicant; having fulfilled all the documents and abided all the rules, still now have caught in a wrong situation! Relax first…
What to do and What NOT to do…
If you have been denied entry at one border (can relate this situation with the border of any given country), rejected applicants tend to become nervous and in this flurry, they take wrong steps. Some false agents may assist them to enter the country through a different border despite being denied entry. This is WRONG. Rather, succumb to all the questions asked by the immigration officers and acquaint them about your background, showing genuine documents to them, to avoid the circumstances from getting worse. Do not panic while the immigration officials take your fingerprints and photographs as a part of their process.
Never take shelter of irrelevant facts, as it might make the already suspicious officer more doubtful. Losing cool or displaying bad attitude can not only lead to a denial but portray you in the bad books of the immigration officials.
Outsmarting the officer as your strategy can rather turn against your favor. Know that he has handled thousands of such cases and you are just one of them.
Option for you…
Despite all the efforts and authenticity, an applicant may face denial. On his behalf, our ABHINAV US associates would assist on required legal aid for US Waiver, which might take 8-10 months to process. Some cases may require the applicant to prove that the ‘United States Immigration and Nationality Act’ is not pertinent to their felonies.
