Evidence of the Nominated Funds or Assets- Parent Retirement Category!

While the principal applicant of the Parent Retirement Category must nominated a minimum funds or assets of 1 million NZ Dollars in order to invest them in New Zealand for a time frame of 4 years, he/she must also provide evidence of the same when the application for NZ residence class visa is made under this particular Family Category. Let us have a look at the evidence requirements for the purpose:

  • The principal applicant must produce evidence of the net nominated funds or assets to the value of 1 million NZ Dollars required to be invested in New Zealand.
  • The evidential documents as valuations provided against the funds or assets must be 3 months old at the date the residence class visa is filed.
  • The evidential documents must be produced by a trusted independent agency on behalf of the applicant.

The business immigration specialists hold the discretion to decline a residence class visa under the Parent Retirement Category if they are not convinced with the valuation produced against the funds or assets. An applicant may also be declined if the specialists find that the nominated funds or assets do not meet the rules of the investment funds under the residence instructions.
