Let us have a look at the evidence required for the confirmation and transfer of a residence class visa:
- Previous/expired passport or certificate of identity which contains residence class visa
- Passport which contains the original residence class visa/permit or any other entry authority granted at the time of the applicant’s entry into New Zealand.
- In case of the applicants who arrived in New Zealand before April 2, 1974 for the purpose of obtaining permanent residence, however, didn’t receive, must show the proof of their continued residence in the country since the aforementioned date with the following evidence;
- (a) Driver’s license(s)
- (b) Income tax returns
- (c) School records
- (d) Rates demands
- (e) Power bills
- (f) Employment references
- (g) Other evidence requested by the Immigration New Zealand
