The heat has disturbed the international flight schedules in a major way. Keeping these facets in mind, government of India has planned to allow special landing permit, in addition to extending the visas for the tourists who are suffering due to this natural disaster.
The special permission has been granted for a span of 14 days, at no additional charges. According to the Home Ministry, the special permission to implement this extension can be exercised by those Immigration officials who are above the ranks of inspectors working at the airports.
The airline industry has suffered in a massive way. The working hours of the employees have been extended; the tourists are left waiting for their flights for hours and hours on the airports and the economic condition is going bizarre. All these conditions are making the situation hell for almost every individual associated with it.
The extension would surely provide a sign of relief to all these travelers who are facing a state of limbo at present!
