Government needs to take proactive steps to attract immigrants, Business NZ

A pro-business lobby group New Zealand, Business NZ claimed that country is facing a huge shortage of skilled workers in almost every sector required to be fulfilled immediately. The leading group urged the government to do more to tempt immigrants to fill the requirements.

Phil O’Reilly, Chief Executive Business NZ, revealed that a large number of requirements of skilled workers can be seen in every sector, but government has defied it since a long time. He advised that focus must be shifted to generate business opportunities so that it can have a positive impact on the economy of New Zealand.

A well reputed pro-business lobby, Business NZ pointed out the numbers of vacancies, which need to be filled immediately. And that will make country prosper.

Emphasizing on more proactive step to encourage skilled workers from across the world, O’Reilly finally urged the government to look into the matter and take all necessary steps.

He, however, appreciated the government’s wonderful step of launching the Skill finder website that will help to those people who are keen for New Zealand immigration and having a wonderful hope of finding a great job and better lifestyle. But, he also suggested that still lots need to be done.
