Holders of Visas Under Granted under Talent (Arts, Culture and Sports) Work Instructions- Residence for Work Category!

Foreign nationals holding work visas under New Zealand’s Talent (Arts, Culture and Sports) work instructions may be eligible to be granted with a NZ resident visa, if they satisfy the following:

  • If the foreign nationals have possessed a work visa under the Talent (Arts, Culture and Sports) work instructions for a period of at least 2 years; AND
  • During the time when their work visa is valid, they have been actively engaged in their declared field of art, culture or sport throughout a period of 2 years in the Kiwi country; AND
  • They are still notable in that declared field of art, culture or sport; AND
  • Their further presence in the Kiwi country will do good for that field of art, culture or sport; AND
  • They are supported by a reputable Kiwi organization in their declared field; AND
  • They are backed by an acceptable sponsor; AND
  • They meet all health and character requirements

A residence class visa applicant must be in the kiwi country at the time he/she file the application.
