Immigration consultant accused of providing fake legal documents!

British Columbia based, immigration consultant who had been assisting immigration aspirants and those applying under the refugee status to get access in Canada with fake school enrolment documents has been caught.

Gongyou Mo better known as Jason Mo was held up on a forgery case as well as misrepresentation in counseling under the immigration and refugee protection act. Gongyou Mo also called Jason Mo was charged on several accounts of false counseling and intentional incidents of with holding important information that could have a toll on the administrative functioning of IRPA. He was also accused on making false documents as reported by  Shakila Manzoor, the CBSA spokeswoman.

With a reference provided by the inland enforcement office of CBSA, the investigation against Jason Mo began in the year 2007. The inquiries went on for almost 2 years and finally a search warrant was issued in the year 2009, on July 14th. Mo was the key provider of false school documents to reinforce the study permits of certain applicants as well as those applying for temporary resident visas in Canada.

The Immigration and Refugee Protection Act penalties include 5 year imprisonment as well as imposition of a fine amount of CAD$100,000. However, the jail sentence can extend to up to 10 years according to the charges by the criminal code.

Jason Mo will appear in the court of British Columbia in Vancouver on January 22nd, year 2011.
