According to reports from TPMDC, Congressional Hispanic Caucus members won’t block health reform, provided the condition that President Obama assures them to push comprehensive immigration legislation this year.

According to Frank Sharry, who is the founder of the pro-reform group America’s Voice, Immigration Reform is one of the most critical issue for all the people and families who migrate to the country every year. 10 million Hispanic voters were counted in the year 2008. If Obama does not keep up with his promise of Immigration Reform, then there are all the chances of losing these voters in a major way. Obama had promised a bill last year, but things never worked that way and the bill was never materialized.

Further, inclusion of beneficial facets for illegal immigrants would surely create worries amongst the Americans who would have all the reasons to think about joblessness and a negative effect in the American economy, courtesy the proposed demands.
