✅The tool starts counting the time when Canada gets your application and stops when they decide.

✅It gives you a good guess of how long you’ll wait, so you can plan your time in Canada.

✅Now, the tool can predict wait times for popular immigration programs.

✅For other programs, it looks at how long things took in the last 6 months.

✅Right now, it takes about 14 weeks for a study permit and 21 weeks for a work permit from outside Canada.

✅The wait times don’t include the time to send your application or do biometrics.

✅If you’ve already applied, the new tool might show a shorter wait than you’ve experienced. Don’t reapply—it’ll only make things slower.
