Late evidences presented after visa application submission will not be taken into consideration announced by UK Immigration Minister. It will eliminate the practice of producing post proofs in points-based system. It will help in curbing misuse of the immigration system and provide better protection to the laws.
The rule will be applicable from 23rd May acknowledged by tribunals. Late evidences have been great threat to the UK immigration system. According to UKBA statistics, more than two-thirds of appeals permitted by migration judges are caused by late evidence submitted.
The rule has been imposed to ensure that applications are submitted correctly first time and no unnecessary appeals are presented afterward. The rule will be applicable to every visa application produced through the points-based system. It will put an end to the last minute submission of new evidences.
The changes are introduced for good and this is one of the amendments that will take place on gradual basis to make UK immigration system better, efficient and cost effective. UK has already commenced a yearly limit of economic migrants hailing from outside of Europe, following major amendments in the student visa programs.
