Protest in Los Angeles

Los Angeles is in news for the plenty of Immigration protests that are going on there. In addition, the police have arrested some rebels who claim that they have gathered together to oppose the new amendments which recently occurred in the Arizona immigration regulations.

According to reports, 14 rebels formed a circle and made an attempt to bar the traffic for a near span of four to five hours on Thursday. The incident happened in front of Federal Immigration Detention Centre. This is not the first time, when major protests have occurred in opposition to the new amendments in the Arizona immigration rules, which gives police the right to scrutinize any suspected person who it speculates to be an illegal immigrant.

No injuries have been reported as yet. Before the arrests, almost 12 helmeted officers surrounded the troublemakers, making a circle around them, hence declaring the arrest. John Franklin, who is the representative from City attorney, confirmed that the protesters would be charged actions like baffling with the police force and not agreeing to the disperse action.

The main motto behind going for the protest was to oppose the new amendments in the Arizona and stating that illegal immigration should be made legal in the US.

The new rules have created various debates all over the world, with some supporting the laws, while a lot of them are against it! Also, the protests would continue mark their existence, until and unless something meaningful is not done in the context.
