Quebec Proclaims Fresh Immigration Laws

The Quebec Experience Program continues to be available to an unrestricted volume of submissions. Further, the candidates, with an applicable offer of job, are not affected by this upper limit. A point of ‘advanced intermediate’ ability in French will become the latest language condition for getting points under the selection aspect for the language for the programs. In addition, a fresh list of the regions of training/fields of study will be brought-out for the program in question.

Investors

The investor program, presently unavailable, will become up for grabs once more to admit not more than 1750 visa petitions. The rule that says, not more than 1200 aspirants per nation, has also been established. Still, the candidates–who use not less than an ‘advanced intermediate’ stage of the language–will not be affected by this restriction. Further, from August 1 onwards, the investor candidates ought to cough-up a government charge of $10,000 for the appraisal of their petitions even as the submissions ought to be received from August 1 to August 16, 2013.

Businesspersons (Capitalists/Industrialists), Self-Employed Employees

Not more than 500 businesspeople & self-employed employee petitions will be admitted for appraisal. A bare minimum point of, what is called ‘advanced intermediate’ expertise in French, will be needed to attain points in the said language, in the two classes.
