Quebec to Provide More Support to Female Immigrants

Quebec is one of the very popular provinces of Canada, which is also known as “la belle province” to its native people the beautiful province. This largest Canadian province is home to about 7,600,000 people. Though, this particular county has several unique features to mention, the province is famous its huge forests, rolling hills and myriad waterways.

Every year, a large number of immigrants across the world choose the region as their place of residence across Canada.  The increasing number of immigrants to this region has made the province a land of multicultural activities, and often recognized as the “Europe of North America”.

When it comes to the economic condition of this beautiful Canadian province, it is found that Quebec is highly diversified and industrialized. The province is home to the 38th biggest economy across the world. Its advanced sector of manufacturing produces a wide range of export products; for instance, equipments for air-traffic control, helicopters, subway trains, software, compact disks, toys and air purifiers.

Pursuant to a recent survey, female immigrants in the province will be provided with more economic and other support by the Province’s Government. The said report has mentioned that in a recent immigration conference, the Immigration Minister of this Province, Kathleen Weil has announced about the pledge on behalf of the government.

In this connection, Weil was quoted as saying that the Quebec Government considers both men and women as equal and thus provides equal rights to them. However, the provincial government has the responsibility of ensuring that the immigrants, particularly women, get all the opportunities to regulate a productive life in the province and also easily integrate into the province’s society.
