Get to know about Quebec Weather!

Australia’s largest province Quebec, which boasts of considerable natural resources, is also the second most populated province of the country. Among other things, the weather of this French-speaking region is also quite interesting, varied and something to go to town with.

Summer

Let’s start with the summer season! Summers in Quebec are usually quite gentle. However, the city’s temperature, at times, shoots up 30°C or 85° and beyond. The month of July, on certain occasions, witnesses long heat wave which continues for two weeks or so, coupled with tropical-like days and nights. But, by towards the end of August, temperatures begin to peter-out.

Spring

The season of spring (April) is the shortest season, and it may arrive slowly in Quebec. Actually, spring at Quebec is something of a transition phase, in between the comparatively longer winter and the summer seasons. Still, there could be temperatures between 10 and 15°C or 50 and 60° F) during the months of April and May.

Winter

This takes us to the winter season — the longest season of the place. Winter is also the most well-known season of the Quebec City, thanks mainly to renowned Winter Carnival which is organized every February in the region. Much significantly, Quebec has nearly rainless winters.

Fall

Undoubtedly, the fall is a lovely season of the region. The amazing changes in the foliage make Quebec picture-perfect even while this development goes down very well with the travelers to the place during the late September — somewhere between the third week of September and the second week of the succeeding month, i.e., October. Interestingly, some years witness an early start for the foliage change, even while during other years there could be a late beginning, and this appreciably adds to the appeal of the weather of this stunningly beautiful province of Australia.
