For a foreign national who has a work visa granted under New Zealand Talent (Arts, Culture and Sports) work instructions can apply for residence in the Kiwi country under the Residence from Work Category. For this matter, the applicant has to be supported by a NZ organization of national repute in their declared work field and must have an acceptable sponsor, being two of the requirements to be met.
- The applicant must provide evidence in order to support the fact that he is supported by a notable Kiwi organization in his work declared field of art, culture or sport along with the NZ resident visa application.
- The applicant must also provide evidence of sponsorship by an acceptable sponsor. For this, he has to provide a completed Talent (Arts, Culture and Sports) Sponsorship Form along with the petition for the NZ resident visa.
- The sponsorship form must be enclosed with a statement of support for the Kiwi resident visa application from a notable organization in the applicant’s declared field of work; AND
- Besides, the reasons for which the organization considers that the applicant’s presence in the Kiwi country will continue to contribute significantly to the declared field; AND
- A written undertaking of sponsorship is also required from an acceptable sponsor (natural person/organization/government agency).
