With the Entrepreneurs category under the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program, international business people and their families can immigrate to the province and set up business or invest in some existing Saskatchewan business and take active participation in the day to day management of the business. Applicants can apply for this category under any of its two sub-categories:
- Large Scale Investor; and
- Science and Technology
Below are the eligibility criteria which SINP requires prospective applicants to meet:
- Applicants must possess personal wealth of minimum 300,000 Canadian Dollars.
- Applicants must have at least 3 years of entrepreneurial experience or management experience in some relevant business.
- Applicants must have intentions to reside in the province of Saskatchewan. They must actively invest in some provincial business.
Here are a few of the requirements that all applicants must satisfy once they are approved for SINP nomination:
- Nominees must make an active investment of 150,000 Canadian Dollars in a new or existing business in the province of Saskatchewan. In case, if a nominee owns less than one-third of the business, then his/her total investment should worth minimum1 million of Canadian Dollars.
- Nominees must take active participation in the regular management of the business.
- They must deposit 75,000 Canadian Dollars as good faith deposit.
